The best equipment you need in your kitchen right now, as used by me.

In todays modern world the choice of tools and inventions we have at our disposal is insane. Everyday more and more products aid us in making tasks just that little bit more simpler. Here are a few products I have personally used and believe are among the most initiative and helpful. If you click on each image it’ll take you to Amazon where you’ll able to purchase these great bits of kit.

First product: Clever Cutter by SystemsEleven.

You may have seen this on TV before and believe me when I say this product is a God send. It takes half the time to cut your vegetables and other types of food by simply chopping them with the efficient blade. These basically work like your everyday Scissors but provide a neat and efficient cut each time. It even has a tiny chopping board underneath the blade to aid in holding the chosen food. It’s perfectly fine for dishwashers and is a great little stocking filler for Christmas.

2. KitchenAid Mixer.

Are you really into baking and making Cakes? If you don’t have a KitchenAid mixer then where have you been? This 10 speed mixer is an absolute powerhouse and can mix huge batches in minutes. You can rely on KitchenAid for their robust and great reputation for creating equipment that lasts. Myself and my wife used ours for a recent Macmillan Coffee morning and the Cakes tasted great and went down a treat. If you’re a professional or just getting into baking then I definitely recommended getting yourself one of these. Many colours are available depending on your style, we personally have the cream colour to compliment our kitchen.

3. Russell Hobbs hand blender.

The Russell Hobbs hand blender is an important tool if you, like us; enjoy making fresh soups, Puree’s and Fruit Coulis. Without the need to buy a bulky blender to take up your Kitchen worktops then definitely invest in this sleek and slimline hand blender. It’s tough and versatile with the ability to pack a punch to make a mean Vegetable soup.

4. Chicken Egg Timer.

Now this product is a bit of fun for my immature mind, we were given this as a wedding present and I love it. Obviously an egg timer is a pretty basic tool but the design of this one just makes me laugh every time I use it. Not only is it a novelty gift it is a useful bit of kit to time your cooking. If you don’t put this in a stocking for a loved one this year you’d be Clucking Mad!

5. Ice cream and Gelato Maker.

If you want delicious tasting Ice Creams everytime then you need to get the CuisinArt Ice Cream and Gelato Maker. As you may now from a previous post I adore Vanilla Ice Cream so with the ability to create my own helps me feed my addiction to full satisfaction. Try different combos and let me know how it goes! Perfect for hobbies or if you want to start your own small business this product will not let you down.

6. Slow Cooker.

Last but not least I would say if, like me and my other half, you spend a lot of time at work then getting a slow cooker might be the best option for you to cook a delicious meal throughout the day; ready for you when you get home. The best thing is you don’t have to be at home while it’s creating a delicious dish. I’d suggest getting a Slow Cooker Cook Book to give you some ideas, but with a little prep in the morning or late evening you’ll be well on your way. Slow cooked beef is delicious.

Well those were my picks of the products in my Kitchen we absolutely love, feel free to comment your favourite bits of equipment too! With Christmas just around the corner these would be perfect gift ideas for any cooking buff.
